Supplement news:

First Dietary Supplement to Preserve Red Wine Molecules Unveiled; Provides Red Wine Molecules Without Alcohol, Calories or Sulfite Headaches*

WORLD'S FIRST STABILIZED RED WINE DIETARY SUPPLEMENT LONGEVINEX
The world's first stabilized red wine dietary supplement, Longevinex(TM), makes it possible for teetotalers to experience the health benefits of red wine without alcohol, calories or sulfite headaches. Due to oxidation and spoilage, the health benefits from concentrated red wine molecules have only been reported from bottled wine, not from pills. Now Longevinex(TM) preserves red wine molecules in an airtight capsule, similar to the corked seal in a bottle of wine. For more information go to www.longevinex.com.

SAN DIMAS, Calif., /PRNewswire/ -- Good news for teetotalers! The
first dietary supplement that preserves the natural antioxidant molecules
found in red wine has hit the marketplace. Thousands of consumers placed
online orders for the product weeks before its introduction after recent
scientific reports, which were widely distributed in the news media, confirmed
that molecules in red wine may contribute to healthy aging.* The stabilized
red wine extract provides consumers with preserved red wine molecules without
the alcohol, calories or sulfite-induced headaches associated with wine.* The
new dietary supplement beats efforts by Italian pharmaceutical scientists to
develop a freeze-dried "wine pill" which were widely publicized last week.

While hundreds of reports confirm health benefits are associated with the
consumption of bottled red wine, no such health benefits have ever been
reported for concentrated red wine extracts in pills. Red wine extracts in
pills fail to preserve the important antioxidant molecules, like resveratrol,
that are kept from spoilage in a sealed bottle of wine. Tests conducted at a
New England university confirm that dietary supplements produced by
conventional methods exhibit little if any biological activity. Efforts to
preserve red wine molecules in a dietary supplement have never been attempted, that is, until now.

The new dietary supplement, marketed under the trade name Longevinex(TM),
seals its ingredients in an airtight capsule similar to the way the cork in a
wine bottle prevents wine from turning into vinegar. Longevinex(TM) utilizes
patented manufacturing methods under exclusive license from Capsugel (a
division of Pfizer) to encapsulate liquids in sealed capsules. Longevinex is
produced in an oxygen-free environment to prevent spoilage, utilizing
pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing practices. The liquid (Licaps(R)) capsules
are produced in a nitrogen environment to preserve red wine molecules, such as resveratrol, that may become oxidized over time due to exposure to oxygen.

Longevinex(TM) also contains a natural internal preservative from rice
bran (patent pending) which further maintains its stability and shelf life.
The health benefits of red wine have been widely extolled ever since the Sixty
Minutes TV Show reported in 1991 that the French consume fattier foods than
Americans but also drink red wine and experience far fewer adverse health
events. But the alcohol content, calories and sulfite-preservative headaches
accompanying wine have caused many hesitant consumers to stop short of adding red wine to their daily diet. Public health authorities have also been
reticent to recommend an alcoholic beverage for widespread public consumption.

So an alcohol-free pill containing concentrated antioxidant molecules from red
wine is welcomed. Longevinex(TM) provides 15 milligrams of trans resveratrol from French red wine and other botanical sources, equivalent to consumption of 3 to 15 glasses of red wine. It is the only red wine extract to provide red wine extract from France. Longevinex(TM) is offered to informed consumers who desire a healthy lifestyle without the drawbacks of an alcoholic beverage.
